Our Mission

The Friends of the Richland Library (FORL) is a 501(c)3 charitable organization of volunteers that support the Richland Public Library with supplemental funding and volunteer services, and the Tri-City community with educational and cultural programs and access to inexpensive books. Funds from contributions and book sales are used to sustain traditional programs, purchase technology tools (e.g., computers and tablets), and build new programs to meet the evolving demands of the community.

We support the Richland Library by working in partnership with the Library Staff, the Richland Library Foundation, the Board of the Richland Public Library, and the contributors and volunteers from the community.
